Great to welcome Haberdashers Hatcham for the very first time and to also see Harris Boys for the first time this season. Haberdashers came in style. Not content with bringing the minimum 8 players they came with 18!!

New referee Neil bedded in nicely with some solid discipline and All-Stars coach Anthony was very visible with his clip-board.

On the pitch the two debutants faced off and produced a solid 5 – 5 draw as did ARK All-Saints and Bacons College (who arrived an impressive 40mins before KO). St Michaels went about their business with a 5 – 0 clinical victory over Sacred Heart. This was followed by a 10 – 0 victory over Haberdashers and a hard-fought 15 – 10 victory over Bacons College. It means that they continue to top the table after the second round.

Bacons College are the other most consistent team. A 5 – 5 draw with ARK Allsaints and a 10 – 0 win over Harris Boys cements their 2nd place in the league having only lost once in 6 matches.

Sacred Heart continue to blow hot and cold but I am sure that when the tournaments progress to a more physical nature they will find a richer vein of form. Likewise ARK Allsaints.
